Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups fresh basil
- 3 garlic cloves
- ¼ cup nutritional yeast
- ¼ cup water to thin (or more if needed)
- 2 Tbsp Udo’s Oil 3.6.9 Blend
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked pasta of choice
Method
- Add the basil, garlic and nutritional yeast to a food processor or blender.
- Blend until the ingredients begin to break down.
- Add the water, Udo’s Oil Blend and lemon juice, then blend again until the mixture forms a smooth pesto sauce. Add a little more water if needed to reach your preferred consistency.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Toss the pesto with freshly cooked pasta until evenly coated.
